Directed by Olivier Dahan and written by Luc Besson , the sequel reunites us with Commissioner Niemans ( Jean Reno ). This time, he teams up with a young captain, Reda ( Benoît Magimel ), to investigate a series of ritualistic killings.
The investigation leads them to a mysterious monastery where "monks on steroids" and a sinister cult leader, Heinrich von Garten (played by the legendary Christopher Lee ), are attempting to trigger the apocalypse.
