Leo had one item left: a nuclear strike. He looked at Jax's dinosaur, standing smugly on the winning tile. He looked at his own dwindling health. He didn't need to win; he just needed Jax to lose.

The board was "The Pirate's Port." Within three turns, the "proper story" of the night began to write itself in blood and salt.

One by one, the icons lit up green. The extraction bar crawled across the screen, a slow fuse burning toward an explosion of colorful chaos. When the menu finally flared to life, the four avatars stood in a row—a penguin, a cactus, a grim reaper, and a very confused-looking dinosaur.

"In this house, we don't have roommates," Sarah replied, her voice cold and playful. "We only have targets."

"It's the 'K' version," Jax crackled over the voice chat, his tone a mix of excitement and warning. "Supposedly includes the new maps and that one minigame that ruins friendships. You guys ready?"
