Fresh Mature Thumbs ✧ (POPULAR)

Be patient. Some "mature thumbs" can take up to 4 weeks to show signs of life.

Once the "thumb" has formed a dry callous at the end, it’s ready for its new home. Use a gritty, well-draining cactus or succulent mix.

Cut at the base where the thumb meets the main stem. fresh mature thumbs

Bright, indirect sunlight (direct sun can scorch a rootless cutting).

This indicates rot. Cut above the mush, let it callous again, and use drier soil. Be patient

A little wrinkling is normal as the cutting uses its own water; deep shriveling means it needs more humidity.

Use rubbing alcohol on shears to prevent infection. let it callous again

Leave the cutting in a dry, shaded area for 3–5 days.
