After being healed in Frieza’s rejuvenation chamber, Vegeta creates a massive diversion by blowing open the ship’s ventilation shaft. In the chaos, he steals five Dragon Balls and tosses them into the Namekian wilderness to retrieve later. He then escapes Frieza’s ship by swimming underwater to avoid detection.
